Banger.flp is published by Emmanuel Baudrier, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) registered in France, who is the data controller for the data described below.

Short version: no cookies, no ads, no tracking profiles. We count clicks anonymously to improve the page, and we only keep what the app needs to honor your license.

The website

• No cookies. The site stores nothing on your device.
• Anonymous counting. When you load the page or press a button, we record which version of the page you saw, which button, your operating system family (Mac, Windows or mobile) and the time. No IP address, no identifier, nothing that can single you out.
• Delivery. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver it and protect it from abuse. Animation scripts are loaded from the jsDelivr CDN, which also sees your IP address when your browser fetches them. Fonts are hosted by us.

The desktop app

• To generate a banger, the app sends our server your license key (if you have one) and a random computer ID created when the app is installed. That ID is not linked to your name or your hardware.
• Our server keeps, per license: the computers activated (to honor the 3-computer limit) and a log of generations (date and project template), to run the service and enforce fair use.
• The app stores your license key on your computer so you don’t have to type it again.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. They collect your name, email address, payment details and billing country to take payment and handle taxes, under their own privacy policy. We receive from them the order and the license key, never your card details.

How long we keep data

Anonymous page counts: up to 24 months. License and generation records: as long as your license is active, plus what the law requires for accounting.

Your rights

You can ask to access or delete the data linked to your license key at any time: reply to your purchase receipt email or write to the support address shown on it.

Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page, with a new date.
